I’m officially a Communication Designer. I leave a list of my skills, to clarify what I mean by this definition to those who aren’t in the field. I start by saying I had started with visual communication, but over the years the design knowledge I'd acquired now has no clear boundaries, not least because today, with the development of technologies, different design disciplines are interacting with each other as never before.
The curiosity, the critical analysis and the passion for research and innovation are some of the most important elements of every good designer. Therefore if I really have to give a definition to my job, as «Bruno Munari» said in “Arte come mestiere”, it’s that of “designer” and not of artist or, as I would say, just “communication designer”.
